Broker commission can be built into the unit rate, meaning the more energy your business uses, the more you pay. Over a multi-year contract, even a small uplift can become a significant cost.
Before renewing, ask three simple questions:
What is the broker’s total fee?
How is it calculated?
What services are included in return?
Transparency makes it much easier to judge whether you are receiving fair value.
